Make a Difference With Your Time

You don’t have to be part of a large group to make a difference. Individual volunteers play an important role in helping Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley strengthen homes and communities throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Whether you have a few hours to give or want to volunteer regularly, there are opportunities to put your time and talents to work. No previous experience is required for many volunteer roles—just a willingness to learn, lend a hand and work alongside others who share a commitment to our mission.

Ways You Can Help

Individual volunteer opportunities may include:

Home Repair

Help improve the safety, accessibility and condition of homes for local homeowners. Depending on the project, volunteers may assist with painting, landscaping, repairs, accessibility improvements and other hands-on tasks.

ReStore

Help our ReStores serve the community while supporting Habitat’s mission. Volunteers can assist with organizing donations, stocking and merchandising, pricing items, customer service and keeping the store running smoothly.

Special Events & Other Opportunities

Volunteers may also have opportunities to help with Habitat events, administrative projects, community outreach and other activities throughout the year.

No Experience? No Problem.

You don’t need to be a contractor or construction expert to volunteer with Habitat. Many volunteer opportunities are designed for people with little or no previous experience, and our staff and experienced volunteers will provide guidance along the way.

Bring your time, energy and willingness to help—we’ll help you find a way to get involved.
